Struggling to make decisions, always second guessing yourself, feeling confused, not sure if your perception is right?

A common theme I have found amongst many of my clients is a deep struggle with self trust.

So what do we do?

1. We tap on all the events in our lives that made us doubt ourselves. It might not be what you think. It could be when you were shocked by someone's reaction, you weren't expecting them to respond that way and you're looking around for the voice of reason, confused.  Maybe they made you feel wrong or that your feelings/ thoughts didn't matter. Maybe it was gaslighting, so many variables we go in and find yours and do the deep work.

2. Head over to watch Brene Brown talk about the Anatomy of Trust. It gives you an incredible way to be able to break trust down into tangible actions that we can reflect on.

3. Download the checklist in the comments. All the credit goes to Brene for the BRAVING checklist but I popped it on a page as a way to reflect at the end of the day.  We tend to focus on the negative. Reflecting on the list at night helps us to identifying were we did well that day and where we want to consciously focus our energy the next. Whilst we are doing the deeper work on tapping away the evidence that we can't trust ourselves it's an incredible tool to help build our own credibility and self trust slowly at the same time. Building positive evidence that we can in fact trust ourselves.

Don't be to hard on yourself. Self trust doesn't happen overnight but it does happen.
